About Us: Join our enthusiastic volunteer team at 2^nd Bracknell Scout Group, where we provide exciting and educational experiences for young people. Our Scout Group is a lively community that values adventure, teamwork, and personal growth.

We are looking for a few dedicated and organised individuals to take on the role of Quartermaster and form a QM team.

Role Overview: The Quartermaster is responsible for the management and maintenance of the Scout Group’s equipment and resources. This includes ensuring all gear is in good condition, properly stored, and ready for use during camps and events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and organise the Scout Group’s equipment and stores
• Ensure all equipment is clean, safe, and in good working order
• Prepare and check equipment before and after camps and events
• Conduct regular inventory checks and manage stock levels
• Assist in the repair and maintenance of equipment as needed
• Work closely with the Group Lead Volunteer and other volunteers to support the Group’s activities

Requirements:

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance and repair
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to the values and ethos of Scouting
• Willingness to undergo relevant training
