African Adventure

June 2012 saw us camping for the weekend at a site new to us, Paddick’s Patch in Woodley. Hathi & Kaa had used the site before with their previous pack and were keen to introduce us to it, so organized a camp with an African Adventure theme.

Map Readers Camp

May 2012 saw us camping at a favourite site of ours, Walton Firs near Cobham. The theme of the camp was the Map Readers badge and all those that came with us achieved the badge, although we are sure they had more fun just running around and of course on the infamous adventure course!

Cubs Backwoods Camp

In March 2012, we had a an indoor camp at a site new to us, Harmergreen Wood Campsite in Hertfordshire. The indoor accomodation could only cater for a small number but as we were travelling in the group minibus, this worked out fine. We had the campsite to ourselves, which meant that there was a very large woods for all sorts of fun and games.

Cubs Wild West Summer Camp

Summer 2011 saw us returning to what is probably our favourite campsite – Cranham. The theme of the camp was Wild West and all the Cubs were indians and the leaders were the cowboys (guess who was the sherriff!). We only had a few Cubs on this camp but a great time was had by all.

Jungle camp at Stedham

Stedham is one of our favourite camp sites and we were delighted to return there in July with our friends from 2nd Bracknell.

We had wonderful weather for our weekend camp and managed to combine our normal camp activities with some jungle crafts and a taste of the exotic fruit. For added entertainment we were able to watch the Red Arrows and Vulcan as they displayed for the Festival of Speed at Goodwood.

You’ll find more in our Jungle camp gallery with pictures taken by Akela.
