This PDF explains how to make a Turk’s Head Woggle.

You need a pice of 18mm dowel approx 100mm long (or something equivalent). A length of cord 70cm long (anything shorter won’t make it and longer is a waste). 3mm polyester or Nylon works well. You can melt it inside the woggle to stop it coming undone. Prussic code works well if made of different colours, but if you use thicker code, it gets harder and you may need a longer length.
